The Healing to Hope + Anar Connection

Healing to Hope’s mission is to increase awareness and understanding of Anar, a Palestinian non-profit based in Bethlehem focused on advancing the well-being and resilience of children who have been impacted by violence and oppression.

As a US-based organization, Healing to Hope shares Anar’s vision to promote the mental and emotional healing of Palestinian children and their caregivers through meaningful psychosocial support and arts-based programming.

We are sister organizations, walking the path together to transform the lives of Palestinian children and their caregivers.

Anar is located in the old city of Beit Sahour, near Bethlehem.

What’s at Stake

The situation in Palestine remains a protracted political crisis due to more than 75 years of Israeli military occupation, discrimination, and lack of respect for international humanitarian and human rights law. Today, Palestinian children and youth are experiencing an unprecedented degree of violence and oppression in their everyday lives, while also carrying the weight of generational trauma. The toll on their mental and emotional well-being as a result of the ongoing war in Gaza and the escalating violence in the West Bank cannot be overstated. Read how Healing to Hope is meeting the moment.

Most importantly, donate now to support the vital healing work with Palestinian children and caregivers.

“Without a doubt, Healing to Hope is a vital way for us in the U.S. to support the amazing work of Anar as they use the arts to bring healing and support to children and caregivers who are experiencing severe trauma on the West Bank.”
